Our charity’s focus is to prevent and relief poverty as much as we can. We understand that poverty cannot be eliminated completely from the planet earth in near future or even for the foreseeable future, but our combined efforts and support will ease the struggle of survivals for many. We are determined to bring some positive changes in their lives who deserve our support and care. We will achieve this goal through implementing innovative ideas and projects and supporting them directly in the areas of basic needs. We also believe by empowering them through education, skill development and raising awareness, we will be able to help the communities to eliminate poverty sustainably in many parts of the world. As the saying goes:
“Give a man a fish, you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you’ll feed him for a lifetime.”
Around 689 million people around the world live in extreme poverty, on $1.9 or less per day. Many of these people live in rural communities but many more are growing up in urban areas. Despite the amazing leaps in progress since 1990, there is no time to rest on our laurels – poverty is still real.
At Care Across Communities, we have singled out a few aspects or basic needs of life that, in many countries, are underdeveloped or simply do not exist in some parts of the world.
To many in the first world, these are accepted principles to guarantee a first-class standard of living. To nearly 10% of the world’s population, these are just words.
With our charity, and your loose change, we will focus on these fundamental rights and give the world’s poor a chance to pursue a better life.
